Ambassador Villas 201

Unit 206 was a horrible experience. It was filthy, and despite being advertised as smoke free, it had an almost unbearable, very strong smoke smell. There was mold on the shower curtains and vents, grime on the floors, sand on the bedspreads, stained blinds, and sheets that were the wrong size. Some door locks didn’t work, the hot tub was out of order and seemed to have been that way for a while, the oven didn’t work properly, and we regularly ran out of hot water. This was nowhere near Airbnb standards, which is where I booked it. Elliot Beach Rentals was the listing agent, but they were unresponsive and basically MIA when I contacted them about the problems. I’d stay far away from both Ambassador Villas and Elliot Beach Rentals.

Horrible and overpriced. Cockroaches ran through the unit, and I found a bunch of them. There was a used dildo in a pillowcase in the closet, and the towels, sheets, and comforters were stained. The mattress was made of the hardest material I’ve ever slept on. People in the unit above us ran around at all hours, day and night, so there were no quiet hours. Kids and family stomped around overhead like they had track meets every day, and I couldn’t sleep. My car was heavily damaged while I was there. The pool and hot tub were tiny and unusable, with dirt, debris, and screws in them. Stay far away from this place.

The oceanfront balconies had amazing views, and our unit was beautiful and suited our group really well. It was spacious, with 7 bedrooms and 5-1/2 bathrooms. The kitchen was new, and the beds were comfortable. We’ll definitely be back.

That giant pan was a hit, we cooked every meal in it 😂. The place had plenty of space for all 17 of us, and strong Wi-Fi was handy. Being six minutes from Main Street was a bonus. It’s oceanfront, though trees block the view from the downstairs balcony. A few worn spots could’ve been fixed easily, and the pool was tiny with the jacuzzi out of order. Still, we loved our stay.
