This was an original, affordable, pet-friendly B&B, and we were really happy with it. Having an apartment with separate rooms gave us plenty of space for our dog. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a B&B. We’ll definitely return when we’re visiting Asbury Park and Ocean Grove. Thanks!

The location and cleanliness were the biggest pluses for us, and check-in was easy. Our room was small, but we were there for the beach and Asbury, not to spend time inside, so that was fine. I was satisfied overall, especially for just one night. The sheets were polyester, which I personally can’t stand, though that might not bother you. The shower temperature was hard to adjust and got super hot. I love that, but my husband didn’t.

Our stay in Ocean Grove felt like a little piece of heaven. The staff went way above and beyond to accommodate us, and the owner was amazing in how much he cared about our comfort. When we had a reservation issue, Effie took the time to explain everything. Anything that came up was sorted out quickly. I can’t say enough about the Ocean View Inn.

The beach is practically outside the door, with fun shops and great restaurants within walking distance. Our penthouse suite at the Ocean View Inn was cozy and private, had everything we needed, and offered a great view from the window. It was dog friendly, too. My husband and I had a fabulous stay. Thank y’all so much for accommodating us!

The room had a strong wet-dog smell, the air conditioner had visible mold, and the rug was really dirty. We complained and got a nearly empty can of Febreze. That was the “service.” At least it’s a block from the ocean and includes a free breakfast.
