OKC Hotel

Never staying here again. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes even though I hadn't booked a smoking room. The sheets clearly hadn't been washed, the bed was hard as rocks, and the shower barely spat out water, like a tiny fountain. The TV didn't work either, and there were roaches and crickets in the room. Absolutely disgusting.

The rooms have been updated, but they're a little small, about the size of an updated Motel 6. Nothing special, but fine if you just need somewhere to crash for the night.

The room was very clean, the linens were fresh, and the AC worked well. The front desk staff were very nice. For the price, it's a good deal, and the place was pretty quiet, though there were a few shady people outside. The building looked old from outside, with peeling paint and a rusty upper deck. We almost skipped it, but the reviews convinced us to go in. There was no rug or carpet in the room, and the TV picture was really bad. I prefer carpet, but it was okay for the price. They require a $40 cash deposit and return it when you check out. We wanted to leave at 4am, but nobody answered the phone or gave us our deposit back.

OKC HOTEL has become my go-to stop when I need somewhere to stay while traveling. The rooms were clean and smelled lovely, and I even tipped the cleaning lady before we moved in because she worked hard to get things ready for our early arrival. At the office, they treated me with care and compassion. I asked what I needed to know, and they answered everything that helped me decide OKC Hotel was the right choice. They let me check in well before 3pm and understood my situation and what I was doing in OKC. I was truly grateful for their kindness. Thank you.
