The location makes this a pleasant place to stay, with a clean room and an amazing view and access to the beach. The clerk and the parking lot security woman were both friendly. The room itself is very basic and dated. Without the location, it would feel like a $50-60 one-star motel. The walls are thin, so we could hear the upstairs neighbors fooling around all night. In the afternoon, the water kept changing from very hot to cold. I figured it might be because the facility laundry was running.

Being right on the beach was the one bright spot for us. The rooms were dated, and for a $250 room, there weren't the amenities I'd expect. There was a coffee maker but no coffee, and neither the kitchenette nor the bathroom had ventilation. The utensils looked like they came from a cheap yard sale. There are no ice machines, though you could buy a $7.00 bab from his.

This was our family's fourth year booking here, but we won't be back next year. Maybe the manager was having a bad day, but she was not accommodating and the rooms were dirty. I'm so disappointed. It shouldn't matter which family member made the booking, the hospitality and accommodations ought to be the same.

The ocean view from our room was spectacular, and we loved spending the day at the beach with the waves. The parking attendant was friendly and professional. We did wonder why clean towels weren't brought into the room, they were left in a plastic bag on the balcony chair instead. The garbage pails also weren't emptied during our stay. Aside from that, we enjoyed it.
