One word: BEDBUGS. We had to leave at 1:00am because my guy was covered in bites on his wrists, leg, bottom, and head. I searched the bed we were sleeping in and found bedbugs. I hope I can upload the photos. We were okay with the dated, quirky decor, dark retro wall paneling, orange and yellow patterned wallpaper, the musty smell, and the bathroom's mildew smell. The funky kitchenette even gave us flashbacks to our grandmothers' kitchens. But that all changed when we found the bugs. The place otherwise looked neat and clean. I hope the credit card refund gets processed ASAP, since we have now paid for two rooms. I'm writing this from the hotel we fled to and watching our belongings in the dryer, hoping to keep the critters from coming home with us. Yuck. I'm sure the owners are on top of the problem, and they were very nice people. #suchislife

This has been my favorite place in OOB so far, and the most affordable. I’ve visited a few times this summer and was so glad I found it. The owners are lovely and friendly, it’s very family friendly, and our room was clean with all the basics we needed. The location is perfect!

Jeannie was so kind and helpful, and really understanding when we arrived late. The motel is close to all the fun in Old Orchard Beach, but inside it was peaceful and we couldn’t hear the nearby theme park screams. We had an amazing stay, and I’d definitely rent here again if I’m back in Old Orchard.

A classic beach hotel, and a great fit if that’s what you’re after. Our room and kitchen were spacious and clean. It’s tucked back from the main strip, but still an easy walk to everything. Perfect for us!

The price was good for what the room offered, but there were a few issues. We had to wait two hours after arriving because our room wasn’t ready. The bathroom is old and doesn’t always work properly, and the kitchen is so small that cooking in it is difficult. The room itself was okay.
