Executive Inn

I stayed for 6 weeks. The room was clean, the price was good, and everyone was nice. They were filming a movie across from my room, not a porno, and they let me watch.

The rooms were disgusting. The pillowcases had brownish-yellow stains and smelled like cigarettes, so I had to buy a whole new bedding set. I was lucky not to run into bed bugs, since this place has a reputation for them, but I did see a few dead bugs in the bathtub. It was very off-putting. My mother, grandmother, our two dogs, and I were staying there. We told the front desk guy several times that we didn't want housekeeping because our dogs are aggressive and don't do well with strangers. On our last day, I heard a knock at the door next to mine, where my mother and grandmother were staying. Right after one quiet knock, the man opened the door. My dog attacked him, and my grandmother was half naked because she'd just gotten out of the shower. I heard my grandmother yell no, told my dog to stop, and he stopped. The man wasn't bleeding or wounded, just scratched. I felt bad at first, but after reading reviews saying he has a reputation for going into guests' rooms and through their things, and for having cameras in the room, I started to wonder if he was going to go through our stuff. We hadn't checked out. My mom wasn't at the motel because she'd gone to move things into the apartment we'd just gotten, to make space for the dogs. Her car wasn't there, but that still wasn't a reason to assume the room was empty. The owners have worked there a while, so you'd think they'd keep track of keys and who was staying in each room. The guy showed no common sense. If you're thinking of staying here, I hope you read the reviews first.

I woke at 3am covered in bed bugs. When I showed them to the owners, they got rude and irritable and even swore at me. They refunded me, but demanded that I leave right away and hand over the key before I could collect my belongings. The rooms are small and gross, and the owners acted completely unprofessionally.

My uncle had reserved three rooms here for our family visit, after we'd traveled 9 hours to Massachusetts. I opened my room and asked everyone to wait outside. The lamp was dirty and stained. When I pulled back the comforter on the first bed, using my phone flashlight, I saw bed bugs crawling on the top sheet. The second bed had even more. They usually hide, especially during the day, so seeing them out in the open made me think the place was seriously infested. There was hair all over both beds, too. The rooms clearly weren't being cleaned properly. My mother and I rang the bell at the office window. The owner came over and rudely said, "WHAT?!" I showed him the picture I'd just taken and told him we weren't staying because there were bed bugs. He didn't deny it, question the photo, or apologize. He said nothing to defend himself or the business, just turned around, slammed our money on the counter, and told us to count it. He clearly knew he was running a dirty, bug-infested place. This place needs to be shut down. I had to give it one star to post, but it deserves zero.
