Round Hill Inn

Round Hill has a great location and reasonable rates, and we love staying here when we visit Orange. It’s an old-fashioned kind of hotel, not fancy, but impeccably clean and set up for comfort. There’s plenty of lighting and outlets, plus a microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, and great blackout shades. I can’t say enough about the staff. They’re wonderful people who work hard to make Round Hill shine.

The fitness center could use an upgrade. It’s quite small for a hotel of this caliber, and the treadmill seemed dated. We had a wonderful family stay at Round Hill Inn in Orange, VA, and it lived up to expectations. The staff were friendly and accommodating from check-in through checkout. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a microwave, mini fridge, good WiFi, and other thoughtful touches. The hilltop grounds are lovely, with sweeping Blue Ridge Mountain views and the 170 acres of greenery mentioned on the website. We appreciated the quiet setting and easy access to local attractions like Montpelier. Complimentary hot breakfast got the day off to a great start, and the veranda and outdoor pool were relaxing extras. Five stars from us. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone passing through Orange. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.

I grew up in Orange, and it’s nice knowing there’s a good place to stay when I come back to visit. The pool was great, breakfast was excellent, the rooms were perfect, and the staff gave impeccable service. Staying here was literally one of the best parts of our vacation. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend the hotel for a family visit. I plan to return and make this my permanent choice. We’ll be back next year, 100%!

I stayed alone and felt safe both inside and around the property. The desk staff were very polite and curious, and the breakfast was good. Staff kept the dining room clean and well stocked. A pleasant stay at a beautiful property.
