The bed was firm in a way I liked, but the rest of the stay left me feeling like I wasn't getting what I paid for. The rooms still have carpet, which I don't think is sanitary, and I prefer hotels with laminated floors. I had to ask each day for my bed linens to be changed. The answer was, “We did that yesterday,” even though I expect most hotels to change them daily. The housekeeper assigned to my room did change them when I asked nicely, but her demeanor made it seem like a big deal, as if I wasn't entitled to ask. It was the same when I requested extra towels so we could shower. The front desk clerk made an issue of it and asked how many guests were in the room. I said two, and got the impression she didn't think we should have more than one washcloth, one hand towel, and one bath towel each per day. I wasn't asking for anything beyond what I thought I was due, just trying to make our vacation stay comfortable. I've stayed at numerous hotels before, and they've changed the linens daily without me having to ask. Other hotel chains haven't quizzed or questioned me when I asked for something. This stay was different, and I don't think it was fair.

The old motel atmosphere brings back memories of the road trips we took as kids, and my sister and I have made this our regular stop when traveling to and from Florida to visit our folks. It has clean, comfortable rooms with what we need for the night, and the front desk staff are always welcoming. When we're in a hurry to get back on the road, the small breakfast of cereal, juice, and coffee works fine. There are lots of fast food places nearby, and Ruby Tuesday and Cracker Barrel are an easy walk away. Gas stations and convenience stores are close too.

We're right off the exit, with different dining options all around us. The rooms are clean, and the staff, myself included, are ready to help make your visit pleasant. Come check us out, and tell them Marcia sent you!

You can park right outside your room, and getting here from the highway is easy. It's a dated but perfectly decent, clean motel. Breakfast is very basic, cereal, milk, OJ, and coffee, but enough to get you going. Since it's on the main road, there's some traffic noise, though it dies down after 11pm.

We stopped here on the way home from Florida with the grandkids. The room was basic but very clean, the staff were friendly, and we felt safe at this location.
