We spent just one night here, and my family and I were thoroughly disappointed. The rooms and amenities felt dated, the carpet was visibly dirty, and the refrigerator wasn’t working. When we arrived, the front desk staff didn’t greet us. We also weren’t told ahead of time about the $100 pet deposit. For our family of three, they provided only one set of towels, which wasn’t enough. I would not recommend this hotel.

The one thing this hotel has going for it is the location, with plenty of good restaurants and stores nearby. The stay itself was uncomfortable and overpriced. The main bed felt worn out, like sleeping on a slope of exposed springs, and the sofa bed was just as bad, with no support. The room was dated and had very few amenities. They advertise as pet-friendly but don’t disclose the $100 pet fee upfront. For that much, I expected some basic pet accommodation, like a designated area or service, but there was nothing. Charging so much without offering anything for pet owners felt exploitative. I wouldn’t recommend this property if you want comfort or transparency.

The room was clean and the hotel is in a nice area, and the breakfast was okay, though nothing special. But we paid over $165 for a room where we couldn’t shower. We didn’t discover there was no hot water until early the next morning. The staff couldn’t get it fixed before checkout, and I understand that wasn’t their fault. I asked for partial compensation. Since I’d booked through Hotels.com, they said they wouldn’t refund part of the stay, but would give me Marriott points for later. The points were worth about $2.50. The manager emailed an apology; I told her that $2.50 felt insulting and asked for fair compensation, but she never replied. This is a Marriott-run hotel, and they should take care of customers who book through Hotels.com as well as direct bookings. Update 10/15/24: I still haven’t received the $2.50 in points they offered. There’s been no follow-up from the hotel or manager Christine. For all I know, she may not even work there anymore.

The Wi-Fi could have been better, but we still had a great stay. Our room was clean, the breakfast was basic but did the job, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend the place.
