Motel 6 Anniston, AL

There was a water leak, and they wouldn't do anything about it, not even offer another discount. They said they'd already given me one, but it was just my military discount, $4 off the room. I don't recommend this place. They showed no regard for someone who served this country or for the upkeep of their rooms.

We stayed in 2 different rooms, and both were infested with cockroaches. The hotel did nothing about it. On our last night, they charged my card twice as well. They're horrible. Don't stay here.

I've never had a bad complaint about anywhere before this stay on Saturday and Sunday, January 31st and February 1st 2026. Day and night, you could smell dope, and I don't mean weed. Both nights, from 12 A.M. until about 5 A.M., people argued and fought. Motel staff didn't step in. Around 12 A.M. until 5 or 6 A.M., someone's kids ran around as if there were no adults watching them and tried to open people's doors. I rent a room every few months because I have epilepsy seizures, high blood pressure, and heart failure, and I'm at the heart doctor every week. When I finally get a few days' break, I'm trying to find somewhere to relax and ease some stress. It's hard to relax when you hear someone trying to get into your room.

There were roaches, gaps in the walls along the baseboards, and a gap around the door. We had to put a towel at the bottom of it. The A/C unit was so loud we couldn't sleep, and my wife and I were ready to leave for somewhere else. This was the worst experience I've ever had in a motel 6. They need to close this hotel.
