Being close to the beach was the one thing we liked about this room. The bed was really uncomfortable, and the pillows were flat. There was no AC, so it got so hot that I had to strip my six-month-old down to her diaper. Shower water flooded the bathroom because there was no plastic curtain liner. The TV was stuck on zoom and worked only part of the time. At check-in, two other people were waiting to be greeted too, and I had to raise my voice and say HELLO before anyone realized we were there. The garage area was awkward and difficult to get out of.

The guy at the front desk was really nice when I arrived and gave me helpful tips about nearby things. I stayed four days with my husband and baby, and it was an amazing experience. The room had two queen beds and was so big I could fit a playpen easily. It was very clean and had a pretty view.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The rooms were very clean, with panoramic bay views, and the staff delivered great customer service. An outstanding hotel and a perfect stay.

The best thing here is the location, right across from the great Lovers Point Park. The room had soft, nice pillows, but was small and outdated. There's no AC, so I left the window open to cool it down, though I didn't feel comfortable doing that. If you're a light sleeper, any outside noise can be a problem, like what was across the way at 5am in the attached picture. I even dreamed there was a cooling fan in the room so I could shut the window, smh. The cheap curtains don't block all the light, and the place needs a lot of upgrades. I guess the location will keep bringing customers as long as it's good enough. This is a bare-minimum motel, with no breakfast, pool, fitness center, or anything.

The room was very affordable, and the location was great, close to the beach and good food options. Downtown Pacific Grove is a ten-minute walk. The hotel and room were old and outdated, but the staff were friendly.
