We come back to The Carriage House every year for NFR and Cowboy Christmas, and it remains a dependable place, especially for a longer stay. Full kitchens in some rooms make a real difference over several weeks, since we can cook and keep groceries instead of eating takeout every meal. The location is also handy for the Las Vegas Convention Center during a busy NFR schedule, with restaurants, shopping, and the rest of Vegas easy to reach. There are a few familiar downsides. Staff turnover seems high, and newer employees don’t always know the property or the small details returning guests have picked up over the years. Our group notices, though it’s not a dealbreaker. F1 teardown noise on the surrounding streets often happens overnight. It was honestly less bad this year than in the past five years. The pool and hot tub have been listed as under construction for two years. We were there last week and the area was basically a pile of rubble. Hopefully that means the work is finally moving along and it’ll be done by spring or summer 2026. That would be a big improvement. It’s still a solid choice for NFR and time in Vegas if location, a kitchen, and a larger space matter to you.
