I don't love life on the road, moving between hotels and motels, but this was a truly pleasant stay. The owner welcomed me, and the place was spotless. I've stayed several nights for work and will seek it out again, even if that means driving an extra 30 minutes each way. I usually prefer a downstairs room, but first stayed in 301, which has a fascinating story I might share in another review. Spoiler alert, it isn't haunted. Some nearby guests were loud and inconsiderate on a few nights, but the rooms are quite soundproof. The following week I stayed in 101, on the front and street side, and it was mostly quiet too. The location is central to the highway and loop, with a Casey's and a Subway practically on the property, and plenty of good restaurants within ten minutes or less. There are more security cameras than the Pentagon, so I felt safe, and if anything happened it would be well documented. They say this is the finest Days Inn in Texas, nationwide too, I believe, and I can see why. Those Texas-shaped waffles every morning were another highlight. I'll be back and will try to remember to take photos.

The rooms are quiet, and I've never seen a hotel property this clean. The outside lighting was great at night, so I felt safe walking my dog at any hour. They're pet-friendly, and I'll definitely return.

It's an okay cheap place if you're alone and just need somewhere inexpensive. Our first room smelled as if someone had smoked in it and tried to cover it with Febreze. They moved us to another room, which was better, but it still smelled too bad to sleep in.

The property was quiet, clean, and well maintained. Breakfast was great, and the outside pool looked nice, though it was too late for me to swim. The casino is 20 minutes away, a nice bonus. I'd definitely recommend it. Thanks so much!

The owner and staff were friendly, caring, and helpful, and treated us like we were at the Ritz Carlton. The rooms were clean and spacious, with all the amenities. Breakfast was generous, and there was a picnic area with grills and tables, plus guest laundry and a fitness center. It's good for pets and has plenty of space to walk them. We'll stay here every time we're in the area.
