Budget Inn

After driving all day from Las Vegas toward Quartzite, AZ, my family and I were exhausted. I’d booked a room online ahead of time, and the booking agent said I could bring my service dogs. But when we arrived and mentioned them at the front desk, the staff were incredibly rude and refused to allow them without an ID, which is incredibly illegal.

The place is far too run-down for what they charge. Our sheets and towels were stained, there was a roach in the bathroom, and another bug on the bed that the staff member blamed on our dog. The room smelled like sewage as soon as we walked in. The rooms are worn out, the pool was out of service, and the advertised kitchenettes didn’t work. Nobody warned us about that before our stay. This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at so far. I’d give it a zero if I could.

Room 106 was awful. I had two dogs and was put in a smoking room because of them, then charged x 20 per dog. There were holes in the carpet, and the lampshades were torn and dirty. The TV didn’t work, and all they’d put on the bed was sheets. Maybe the regular rooms are better, but my dogs kept picking up all kinds of smells in that room.

Stay one night and leave. There were lots of people wandering around at night, and someone knocked on my door around midnight looking for somebody. It happened a few times. I called the office, but only got an answering machine.
