AKA Rittenhouse Square

Maria went out of her way at check-in to find a room that worked for me. She was kind, gracious, friendly, and efficient. Greg, the doorman, was full of local tips and clearly enjoyed recommending restaurants and helping with directions. A couple of nights later, Wister was just as warm and accommodating when our son checked in. Their hospitality made AKA feel like a home away from home, and I hope to stay nowhere else when I visit Philly. Our apartment was beautiful, spotless, practical, and well equipped, with a very comfortable bed and a quiet, private feel. The location is excellent for walking to the park, shops, and restaurants. The gym is small, but had everything we needed.

The views across Rittenhouse Square were a lovely part of the stay. Our room was gorgeous and roomy, with a lovely kitchen and breakfast nook that made it feel more like home than a hotel. The staff were attentive, professional, and kind from arrival through departure, and everything felt comfortable, polished, and welcoming. Every detail seemed well cared for. I'd happily stay again. We had a one-bedroom suite for four nights and found the value amazing for such a central, beautiful place with great facilities. We had guests over, made dinner, swam in the pool, and spent time in the lovely business center. Wister deserves a special mention. He brought charm, dedication, and integrity to his work and made our stay feel extra special. Thank you!

We drove up from Baltimore for one night through awful traffic, then found out valet parking wasn't available. Bianca Valle came right out, helped carry most of our bags in, and said she'd have them brought to our room. They upgraded us from a King Suite to a beautifully decorated penthouse arena, with a kitchen, a full bedroom, and an amazing full bath. The living room and formal living and dining areas both had great views of downtown Philadelphia. We had an amazing dinner at the Rittenhouse House Grille. It used to be the Prime Rib location, but we liked this even better. We'll be back in Philly in late spring for a game or something else, and will definitely return to AKA and Bianca's wonderful service team. Cheers, and happy holidays!
