The balcony was our favorite spot for meals and a peaceful view of the sunsets, especially while relaxing in the hot tub. Our room was spacious and as expected, and we enjoyed a quiet stay at Hideaway Cove. Poipu Beach was an easy walk, so we went there several times a day. I'd recommend The Seabreeze. One thing to know if you're traveling with another couple: the main bedroom has sliding screens instead of proper doors, and they don't lock. That wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for someone else.

A quiet spot close to the beach, with a comfortable bed, a clean hot tub, and hosts who answered messages quickly. The hot tub could use a cover with a lift. The outside stairs had a broken, dangerous first step when we stayed, though I hope it's been repaired by now.

It felt like we were staying at a friend's place: spacious, very clean, and well looked after. The location was ideal. We rented a Jeep, but walked to almost everywhere around Poipu Beach. It was our first trip to Kauai, and the owners helped us figure out local things to see and do. They even used their contacts to help arrange some of them.

The manager was quick to respond and very helpful, and our Royal Palm unit was spotless, fully equipped, and everything worked properly. The beach is a very short walk away, on the sunny side of the island. I'd happily stay there again.

Herb's hospitality makes Hideaway Cove an even nicer place to call home for a few days. It's comfortable and has lots of extras, right in the heart of Poipu. If you see it available, book it. I doubt that happens often.
