Holiday Inn Express Ponca City, an IHG Hotel

I worked in Ponca City off and on for a couple of months, and this became my regular place to stay. The staff are great, and they really seem to care how your stay goes. A+.

I've been staying here on and off for the past six months. Management and staff are very kind, and they've fixed things or helped with any reasonable request I've made.

The front desk service from Kenzie was superb, and the room itself was comfortable. The bathroom, though, is outdated and the tub was stained. We chose this hotel partly for its location between the two places in Oklahoma our family wanted to visit, and partly for the pool and hot tub on a short, relaxing getaway. But the pool had a renovation-closure sign up, and I didn't see any work happening. Breakfast is another reason I pick Holiday Inn Express & Suites over other chains, but this one was mediocre at best. There were plenty of options, but the pancake machine was broken. Two of the things we chose the hotel for weren't available, and the website should let customers know so they aren't disappointed at check-in.

The bed was really comfortable, and we missed the turn three times, though that's on the driver. The pool was closed after a pipe burst, and I wish they had told me when I made the reservation. The tub faucet also leaks.
