The room was good value and the location worked great for what I needed. It’s an older motel run by a nice family. The rooms are dated but clean, with mini fridges, fans, and AC. There aren’t local channels on the TV, but Wi-Fi is available so you can stream your own services. Thank you!

Once you’re on the property, you wouldn’t know the hotel is in an iffy neighborhood. It feels warm and welcoming, and the grounds are well maintained. The manager is spunky and sweet, and you can tell she cares about guests. Very worth the price!

We had a great time at the Monticello Motel. The room was clean and good, the people were really nice, and the manager gave us helpful information about the area. We’ll definitely come again!

Great value, with just one hassle. I couldn’t find a bathroom outlet, so using a curling iron was difficult when the only mirror was in there.

For the price, this motel is a great find. The room was clean and very nice, and though we didn’t get a chance to use the kitchenette, it had plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. The area wasn’t great and there was nothing to do on foot, but we had no incidents. There’s plenty to do by car or train, and the station is right outside.
