We were too exhausted to find another place after checking in, but we didn’t get any real rest there either. The service was poor from the start, and the towels were covered in someone else’s hair. When the TV wouldn’t work, we asked for another room. Instead, someone came to ours three times, coughing the whole time, and each visit felt like we were being blamed for the problem. It’s not worth even the low price. Save yourself the hassle and pay a little more to stay somewhere else.

We booked this place for its big fridge and kitchen and regretted it. We arrived after 10 p.m. and left right after checking in, but all the staff had gone home, so there was no one to speak with about a refund. The room smelled horrible, like a dog shelter and strongly of urine. The beds looked used, the bins still had trash, and the toilet hadn’t been flushed. Someone had just remade the bed after another guest, with hairs left all over the sheets. Luckily we travel with our own bedding. The microwave looked so filthy we wouldn’t risk heating food in it, and the neighborhood felt awful too. This was the worst motel in the chain, far beyond what I think anyone should reasonably expect. If you can, spend a little more time and money to find somewhere much better.

At 3 in the morning I could hear dogs barking, kids running through the hall, and people arguing. The room smelled moldy, the walls had Sharpie all over them, and there were craft signs scattered across the floor, a whole pack of them. Please don’t book here. Spend the extra $10-60 a night to sleep somewhere else.

I paid for a week in advance and booked a double queen room, but this place was a filthy, overpriced, understaffed disappointment. Room 121 on the first floor hadn’t been cleaned. The freezer was frozen solid, the stove didn’t work, and the beds had no blankets, just urine stains, dirt, and hair. A wipe across the floor turned the rag black. The TV had no channels, there was an ugly RV outside the window, and there was leftover stuff in the cabinet and on top of the fridge. I even found what looked like powdered fentanyl in one of the egg tray holes inside the fridge. I later heard that some days one older woman is responsible for cleaning every room, which may explain why some get missed. You could also hear every footstep and other noise from upstairs. There was nobody at night, so I had to wait until morning to ask for a different room. I requested one at 8 a.m., came back two or three times, and didn’t get moved until after 3 p.m. The second room was worse. It had smaller double beds with very springy mattresses, no box spring, just a wooden frame. I have back and hip problems, which is why I’d specifically booked larger, better beds. I knew those mattresses would leave me in a lot of pain. I eventually raised it with the desk clerk, since I’d paid good money and they’d already messed up, but they tried to tell me they didn’t have anything larger than queens, which wasn’t true, and refused to move me again. That room also had no working TV channels, toilets and sinks that kept clogging, very little furniture, and an awkwardly empty feel. Then I found bed bugs in room 235. One of the main clerks admitted that the room had been skipped during an inspection. Another morning I woke up to a burning smell and found the AC plug literally on fire. When I told the manager, he was rude, barely responded, and accused me of planting the bugs. He refused any compensation or refund, didn’t even apologize, and I could hardly get my $60 cash deposit back. I’m never going back or giving them another cent.
