The location is great and the lobby looks nice, but my room was awful. There was mold in all the bathroom caulking, the HVAC was extremely loud, and the bed was so firm I think the floor would have been softer. The pillows were flat feathers, and only one of the four lights worked. I called the front desk and was told they'd get back to me, but they never did. Three days later, my back, shoulders, and neck were still feeling that one night. The food seemed like it was trying too hard to be trendy. At checkout, they added $70 in fees and taxes to the $250 room charge for one night. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Downtown is a convenient base, close to the highway and shops, with easy access to Beaverton and Tigard. The first-floor decor is appealing, but room 304 was old and shabby. The bathroom didn't look clean, and the water pressure was nearly nonexistent and never got hot enough for me. Expect another $70 a day for parking and a “resort fee,” even though there isn't a gym on site. S'mores hour only runs from 7 to 8 pm, and breakfast was poor enough that we skipped it the second day, something I've never done at a hotel before. We liked the location, but the staff weren't friendly and mostly stood around talking without acknowledging us. The bar and restaurant staff were the same. Not worth it, and I won't stay again.

The room was on the small side, but comfortable, and the location is excellent. Buses and the tram are close, the neighborhood is walkable, and it feels safe. The lobby and restaurant look nice, while the upstairs guest areas could use some sprucing up. A few parts of the hotel are showing wear.

The room was clean and beautiful, and the king suite was phenomenal. I loved the s'mores and the sitting area, and we felt safe walking around late at night. My son got to see all the sights. The night desk staff were wonderful, smiling, chatting, and opening doors for us, while the daytime crew barely greeted us. The breakfast lady was unpleasant on both stays. But I wasn't refunded my deposit, and when I called, she said I didn't have a room there. I was charged another $30 for amenities I never received. We were excited about the pool table, but were told it had been rented out for months. The water bottle said we'd be charged if we opened it, so we left it sealed, and they still charged $8, saying it was part of the amenities. I might as well have used it. I was told the final bill would be around $125, but it ended up about $100 more than the booking. I want to return only because the place is clean and beautiful.

The rooms, lobby, and amenities were very clean, and the staff were friendly. But the walls were so thin I could hear both sets of neighbors clearly. One side woke me at 3 am and talked loudly for hours. Even earplugs probably wouldn't have helped much. Then the other neighbors got up at a reasonable hour and their conversation woke me again.
