The homemade breakfast was delicious, especially the coddled eggs and croissants with jam, and Kimberly and Ken went out of their way to make my brother a nice lunch when he stopped by before a long drive. Their tips for local places to eat and get coffee were right on. I've stayed at the Green Cat Guest House several times and love it. My Cedar Grove room was cozy and nicely furnished. I liked reading by the fireplace in the armchair, then having tea on the sunny deck overlooking the gardens. Kimberly and Ken welcomed me, showed me the house and grounds, and were happy to share a glass of wine and conversation. I was traveling alone, so I really enjoyed that. I can't wait to come back when I'm on the west coast again. The place and the people are awesome!

I only stayed one night in mid-January, but immediately wished I could have made it a week. The Green Cat Guest House is tucked into quiet woods, though Poulsbo is just a short drive away. It's a historic Scandinavian-flavored town in a beautiful spot by the water, well worth visiting. At the guest house, you can wander the gardens and cedar groves, relax on the big deck, or use the hot tub. The rooms have a cozy Pacific Northwest mix of furnishings, plus comfortable little corners with chairs for reading. There's a good supply of books if you left yours at home. Guests also share a large, well-equipped kitchen and dining area upstairs. Kimberly King and Ken Grantham made the stay especially welcoming. They're the most genial, attentive hosts I've met. I'd highly recommend this B & B for singles or couples.

We found our way to the Green Cat through an auction prize, and used the night for a short honeymoon. The big old house was lovely, set among fields, gardens, and animals, including real cats. Leo was invited into our room and stayed overnight. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and served in a rather Continental style. Our hosts were there when we wanted them and otherwise gave us space. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Our New Year's Eve at the Green Cat B&B was wonderful. The Master Suite was beautifully furnished, with a huge claw foot tub and a big deck with a hot tub. Kimberly and Ken also pointed us toward a local Tapas Bar in Poulsbo, which we tried. Everything was great, and we'll recommend the B&B to friends. We might even book the whole house for our clan this summer. Thanks to Kimberly, Ken, and Marsha.
