Baymont by Wyndham Richmond I-70

The hot tub was a favorite, and going swimming and then getting in it during winter was just great. I took my girlfriend, and she had a lovely time too. Debbie at the front desk is wonderful, works hard, and does so much for us when we stay. I appreciate everything she’s done. The other guy who works when she’s away is wonderful as well. Debbie and Hammond make this place a good experience. Thank you both.

We had to pull off at the last minute because of the weather, and it was easy to afford the two rooms we needed. Breakfast was a welcome surprise. Debbie greeted us so warmly, it felt like catching up with someone we knew. Richard kept breakfast clean and running smoothly, and even offered to make eggs to order. The Bob Evans next door was an easy walk, with tasty food and fantastic staff. It was a pleasant stay.

The location made things easy, right by I-70, about a two-minute drive from a major grocery store and gas stations, and less than ten minutes from downtown Richmond. The pool and hot tub area was great, and I especially appreciated that it stayed open until 11 pm. Breakfast had a good hot line with sausage, biscuits, and gravy, plus someone offering eggs and bacon made to order. From check-in, the staff made it clear they cared about making guests feel welcome. The rooms were well maintained too. This place is a real gem in the hotel world, and I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in the area.

The breakfast is yummy, and Richard makes it amazing. Debby up front is another reason this place feels like a hidden treasure. It’s old, but so are we. The spot was perfect, everything was clean, and the hot water was frickin hot. Who’d have thought Richmond, Indiana had a place this awesome?
