Motel 6 Riverside, CA - South

I’m here often for work, and the front desk staff are friendly and happy to help. Sylvia is the one I’ve known the longest, and she’s great at customer service. She listens and takes care of things promptly. Thank you, Sylvia.

The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled of cigarettes and weed. A woman in the neighboring room sat outside smoking, and people with unleashed dogs were arguing at all hours. The tub and toilet were worn, the TV sat in an offset box that made it hard to see, and the beds were uncomfortable with very flat pillows. The only chair was flimsy and hard enough to make the floor seem like a better place to sit. The employees were friendly and understanding, though, and tried to accommodate my medical needs.

The cleaning staff were the only people who were nice and helpful. The front desk girl was no help at all and had no customer service skills. Our room smelled like old fish, the bed was uncomfortable, and the sheets felt like paper towels. The curtains were torn and full of holes. The area had a lot of homeless people and drug addicts. I’ve stayed at Motel 6 before and it wasn’t this gross, even for a budget-friendly motel.

The shower was dirty and questionable, and the walls and floors were covered with bad patch jobs and signs of disrepair. The walls were thin and the bed uncomfortable. For what we paid, I’d spend a little extra on another hotel or motel. This place barely works as somewhere to sleep and isn’t worth the money or time.
