The toilet was the big problem: it had an elongated bowl with a small round seat, and the tank lid didn’t sit right because the inner parts were higher than the tank walls. It should have been replaced long ago. Otherwise, the suite had a couch, a firm but comfortable enough bed, working fridge that kept things very cold, a small but adequate microwave, plenty of hot water, and a TV with lots of channels. The carpet was old and worn. Parking was fine, with electric charging stations, and there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was satisfying, with juice, coffee and tea, fruit, cereal, a waffle maker, and hot food like sausage links or patties, eggs, omelets, and usually small potatoes. No bacon during my 9-day stay. The gym and facilities were decent, and the staff and service were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast had plenty of tasty choices, including cheesy omelets, tater tots, fruit, and pastries. My husband thought the coffee tasted burnt. The front desk person who checked us in was warm and welcoming, and our room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. The shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. It was an affordable, comfortable place a short way from downtown.

This was the worst hotel MyHockeyTournements has ever arranged for our family. We left without any guarantee of a refund. The whole place smelled of marijuana and filth, and there was mouse feces in the rooms and hallways. Staff couldn’t make decisions on their own, and management was hard to reach. The facility felt like a house of ill fame, as if that were the only reason it existed.

I’m sick and already had an awful evening, and then the TV remote in the new room was broken too. We had to move because of mice in room 103, where I was staying with my daughter. There was no microwave, the toilet was hard to flush, and we had a mouse problem. The front desk clerk was nice about switching us, but the new keys didn’t work after three attempts, so the clerk had to let us in. Now we’re in room 213. It smells like cigarettes, the box spring on my bed is dirty and uncovered properly, and the TV remote is broken. I’m so over this.
