Motel 6 Rochester, MN

We booked online and had a great stay at Motel 6 in London, Ky. But the one we booked in Rochester, Minnesota had bedbug nits all over the sheets, along with tiny black bugs. There was blood or feces on the blanket on the second bed. They moved us to another room, but there were bed bugs. We left. This place should be closed until the health department gives it a clean bill of health.

We'd had a long drive and gone the wrong way, so we were exhausted when we arrived and just wanted to sleep. The two front desk employees were very helpful and gave us toothpaste, little bottles of shampoo, and lotion. The manager was understanding and took the time to check whether we needed anything else. We had a wonderful day, and I'd highly recommend this Motel 6 for a reasonably priced room with great staff.

Since I was last here, the rooms have been cleaned up and remodeled. It's nice, though nowhere near as cool as what Mankato did. New management seems to be trying a coup on the significant history of this address. Time will tell. There were plenty of towels, everything worked properly, and I didn't notice bugs, rodents, or vagrants around the property. But the room was short on pillows and had absolutely no blankets.

The rooms are roomy and well appointed, and the location makes it easy to get anywhere in Rochester. Every staff member is friendly, accessible, and ready to help whenever you need something. I can't say enough good things about this Rochester Motel 6. If you need short-term or long-term lodging, check with the staff here.
