The rooms are spacious, the kitchen works fine, and the shower has good water pressure. The walls are thin, though, and the unit I had was only about a 3/5 for cleanliness. The floors were sticky, someone’s orange crush spit-up was beside the window, and there was too much air freshener. The main problem was not knowing how to check out at 5 am. There were no instructions in the app, the room, the guest entrance, or the lobby for leaving outside lobby hours. After-hours check-in seemed straightforward, but an early departure was a mystery. I won’t stay again, though I wouldn’t necessarily tell others to avoid it.

Brittney and Jayla cleaned our room beautifully, and Brittney deserves special thanks for turning in the rings I accidentally left behind. She was a lifesaver. Christine, the manager, was also wonderful and quick to help with everything I needed. The staff were lovely and ready to help at any time. My family stayed here about a month ago, and the place felt cozy and like a home away from home. It was clean and quiet. If I need somewhere in Rock Hill again, this will be it. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Christina has made this property feel like home for families and long-term guests, where kids feel safe and people can finally breathe. We’ve stayed here for a while after losing everything in the last hurricane, so we’ve seen how the place has changed. Since Christina became General Manager, the difference has been remarkable. She brought structure and accountability, set clear standards, and got the staff on track. The hotel feels cleaner, safer, and more family-friendly. She’ll do the hard work and make tough calls to protect guests and the property. She runs a tight ship with warmth, professionalism, and real care. Her team treats guests respectfully, keeps the property secure, and deals with issues promptly. The atmosphere is completely different from before. Hiring Christina was the best decision StayAPT made, and she’s brought pride back to this location. Everyone who lives or stays here benefits every day.

I feel lucky to have found a room at StayAPT suites in Rock Hill, and I’ve been extremely impressed. Christine and Derek are kind as well as professional. My one disappointment is that they don’t offer a special rate for traveling teachers or healthcare workers. I’m sure a rate for those travelers would bring in many more five-star reviews.
