Rodeway Inn Metro Airport

The floors were uneven and squishy, and the toilet was sinking into the floor. The walls were dirty, the sheets and blankets were stained, and I know the room hadn't been cleaned because used soap and shampoo were still in the shower. I couldn't believe anyone would use it, or that the building wasn't condemned. There were no pictures, hangers, or garbage cans. This was the worst place I've ever stayed. I highly recommend avoiding it, and it shouldn't cost more than $10 a night.

For a Choice motel, this was a bad one. The room was dirty, the floors sticky, and the towels and walls stained. It smelled bad too. The lock on the front door was broken, and the bathroom door wouldn't lock. There were cigarette burns in the tub. The one decent thing was being only 15 minutes from Downtown Detroit. It was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for.

The room was completely filthy, and the gentleman at the desk was curt and rude when I arrived. The bathroom was dirty, with hair in the tub, and the toilet bowl had no water flowing. The worst part was the bed, which had bedbugs everywhere. My daughter started itching right away. I reported it to the man at the desk, but he brushed me off like I was bothering him. I don't understand why this hotel is part of Choice. I sincerely hope Choice takes its flag from them. It's an embarrassment to the brand.

We lasted about five minutes in the room before going straight back to demand a refund and find somewhere else. There was dirt all over the chair, yellow marks on the sheets, and a footprint on the pillow. The extra door lock had been ripped off, and we saw at least one live bed bug. It was a terrifying experience. Don't stay here.
