The Hilton app is still generally slow, and the digital key often quits working until you reinstall the app. I wouldn’t book through it because it takes so much longer than using a laptop. I’ve tried it several times over the years, and it’s only improved a little. We had a couple of minor issues, though the service was good. The free weekday breakfast was good value, but the 9 a.m. cutoff felt tight since staff closed it about 10 minutes early almost every day. On weekends, they took their time closing breakfast, which we appreciated with kids and the difficulty of making an exact start time.

The rooms were clean and well maintained, and there was a nice patio outside the lobby plus a snack area at the front desk where you could buy things. We chose Home2 Suites by Hilton for a team building event, and most of the stay was fine, though we hit a few hiccups. Two rooms weren’t ready at check-in, but that wasn’t a big deal since we could leave their things in other rooms before dinner. Later that evening, when two executives came back for their now-ready rooms, one was assigned a room that was already occupied. Our teammate walked in after 11 p.m. and found someone in bed, which was a really awkward situation.

Jacob, the assistant manager, deserves recognition for his excellent customer service. The rest of the staff were excellent too. My room was spacious and clean, and the property looked neat, with modern furnishings in good repair. I was alone, though the room could easily fit two people and a child or two. The free breakfast was decent. My bagel with cream cheese and little premade omelette was tasty, though it only had red and green peppers. There were also biscuits, cereal, sausage, a waffle maker, good hot gourmet coffee, selected teas, and other drinks. It wasn’t Ihop, but it kept me going until lunch or dinner.

The kitchenette was nicely equipped with real dishes and utensils, a microwave, a big fridge, and even a dishwasher. Hot breakfast was included too, so I’d definitely stay again. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the bed, couch, and chairs were comfortable.
