Motel 6 Roseville, MN - Minneapolis North

The staff are kind, but the service and rooms are awful. You have to pay a $75 deposit, clean your own room, take out your own trash, and kill bugs that come in through cracks in the doors. Need toilet paper in an emergency? You have to walk to the office and get it yourself. I paid for a room with a microwave and fridge, and they said there was a microwave, but there wasn’t one. Bugs were crawling all over the fridge. They offered another room after my friend had left, but with my bad back I would’ve had to move everything, including my cat and his things, by myself. The other people staying here have been loud and don’t show much consideration or respect. I feel dehumanized. Even after cleaning up the room for them, I know I won’t get my deposit back. I’m homeless, and that $75 would keep me off the streets for at least one night.

This motel is awful. The location and parking lot are terrible, dog feces are left around, the laundry room doesn’t work, and the toilet in my room doesn’t work either. You can’t lock your door without getting locked out of your room every day, even in freezing weather. Go somewhere else if you can. Motel 6 Saint Paul is much better.

I was impressed by my stay at Motel 6. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, so it was easy to relax after a long day. The staff made the visit feel warm and stress free. Everyone I dealt with was kind, helpful, and welcoming.

The beds are comfy, and the staff are really sweet. They’re stretched thin, though, so be kind. This is a cheap hotel, and what you need may not line up with what it offers. Keep your expectations in check and you’ll probably have a good stay.
