Courtyard Inn Sacramento

We chose a tile-floored room after checking a few first. All the carpeted ones smelled awful, just disgusting. By the third day we’d found one roach in our room, though thankfully no more so far. The bathroom door won’t close unless you lift it, which is super ghetto. There’s also been a tweaked-out white guy upstairs talking to himself while we’ve been here. We rented for a week and definitely won’t do that again. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

I drove 20 minutes away from my friends’ place, lost and exhausted, hoping to find somewhere decent to rest. The good hotels were full, and the pictures made this place look nice. They were misleading. For $80, this was filthy, creepy, and unsanitary. I cried when I walked into the room. It was my worst night ever. There were creepy people hanging around the hallways and outside in the parking lot, and I didn’t feel safe relaxing here with family. I was so glad my husband was with me. I wouldn’t come alone, with family, or at all. This place should be shut down and gutted. It was a nightmare.

The staff were rude and no help, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially families with children. Stay away from courtyard inn!!! The room was filthy. Within five minutes of walking barefoot, my feet were black, and I found a huge ball of shaved hair under the bed. There were cigarette burns on the sheets, beds, floor, and tub. The beds were stained and looked more than five years old, the carpets were torn and dirty, the toilet was stained, the drawers were broken, and there were holes in the walls with sloppy patches. The TV service wasn’t available despite the cable claim, and the remotes were broken. The wall heater and AC didn’t work either.

The location made it easy to get around, and the lobby looked fantastic. Our renovated room was bigger than the hotel rooms I’m used to. There’s a lovely courtyard and a huge pool that was great for cooling off in the summer heat. The staff were friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. Big thanks to Mike at the front desk for always looking after me. Free WiFi was a nice bonus :)
