I booked my room online for $74 with a $40 deposit. The night staff still tried to charge me $104 for the room and a $100 deposit. They were trying to overcharge for both the room and deposit.

The shower was barely a trickle, with no water pressure, and the highway noise came straight through the windows. There were roaches in the room too. My TV kept freezing and turning into digital pixels every 30 seconds for a minute, so it was unwatchable, and only one channel worked. When I asked for another room, they claimed they were sold out, which was a lie. There weren't any ice buckets or cups in the room; I had to ask, and they looked at me as if I was lying. The staff were rude.

The bed had springs sticking out of the mattress, as my pictures showed. I complained and asked for another room, but they said they had none and that the bed was fine. When I went back to the office to show the photos, they said I couldn't stay in that room if the bed looked like that. Still, they offered no replacement, only a refund, which took three days. I'm 70 and had to leave with no money. After I got upset, rightfully, they kicked me off the property. While I waited for police to arrive, a man walked up to the counter and got a room without a reservation. I should have been offered that room. Instead, I was treated unfairly and unethically. I want to know what Motel 6 plans to do to resolve this. You have my phone number on file. Call and show me how you treat returning customers. I'll update this review when I hear from your Team.
