Super 8 by Wyndham Sacramento/Florin Rd

The room I had was already renovated, with new furniture and carpet, and it was nice. The hotel is still under renovation, though, and you can tell. I was also frustrated that online check-in didn't save me a trip to the desk. I still had to collect my keys and have my ID and payment method checked again after they'd already been verified. Noise from kids, drunk guests, and people who didn't seem to care about anyone else went on all night and never stopped. One bright spot was the Gyro truck in the Shell gas station parking lot across from the hotel. The food was amazing.

Whenever I'm in Sacramento, I keep coming back to Super 8 because of the staff. Whoever's working during my stay always makes sure I get what I need and is accommodating. It's pet friendly, and the pool is open. This place will keep getting five stars from me. Thanks, Super 8 at 7216 55th street, Sacramento CA.

Miss Mita at the front desk was so sweet and helpful while I was staying there. I really appreciate her patience and all the work she put in. She's a great example of how people in hospitality should treat guests, and I think she deserves recognition at super 8!!!

We got the room through HotWire at a reasonable price, and the location worked for what we needed. We arrived around 10 p.m. and had to ring the bell to get help, even though I'd called out "Hello." The person at the desk seemed annoyed I'd interrupted something, handed over the key, and left without mentioning parking or asking if we needed anything else. The stay was OK. Maybe that was a one-off, so we might come back.
