Loyal Duke Lodge

Traveling with our pet was a pleasure at The Loyal Duke Lodge. They made both us and our four-legged family member feel very welcome, and the staff were so kind and helpful. It’s also in a great spot close to Monarch Mountain. I’m looking forward to staying here again.

I liked the layout, with the office across the parking lot and the pool and hot tubs in the middle. It gave the place the feel of a small, private inn. The bed was comfortable, and the microwave and fridge both worked. The room itself was very small, with just enough room for the basics. Since the bed was by the window, I could hear people on the wooden decking connecting the second and third floor rooms, along with noise from the room above. Keeping the fan on helped cover it up so I could sleep. The toilet wouldn’t flush when I checked in. It had been “fixed” with a paper clip, and since no repair person was available that evening, I used the same paper clip to get it working.

With two large dogs, it’s tough to find somewhere to stay, whether for a night or longer. This hotel welcomes pets, and they also helped us when there was a problem with another guest’s animal. The beds are really comfortable, the room is a nice size, and the hot tubs and warm pool make it a great place to unwind after a long or stressful day.

My husband, our kids who are 5 and 7, and our two dogs stayed here and made such great memories. My son hates swimming, but your pool changed his mind. He loved it! We’ll be back!
