Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel

I was here on a business trip and booked almost a month ahead. The place felt very old and laid back, and I had a hard time with the showers and lighting. Our room had even been selected by the check-in agent. It was a rough stay, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. I’d choose somewhere newer, neat, and clean instead.

Grace made my lunch at the Sheraton Downtown feel special. She was friendly and attentive, and took great care of me the whole time. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxing. It was a memorable visit, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I know this may be listed as a 4 star hotel, but to me it deserves five. The location, rooms, amenities, and restaurant were all terrific, and the housekeeping staff exceeded my expectations. I’m grateful for their dedication and hard work. The people here made my stay especially memorable. Devin, the Front Desk Manager, did so much to make it exceptional, and I won’t forget him. Alelie is dedicated, polite, eager to help, and remembers your name. Javier is the chillest, friendliest guy. He’s awesome, and I hope he has a great career with Marriott International. Edgardo in the restaurant is fantastic too. Let him make your day! This property really shows what good service, hospitality, and customer care can be. I feel lucky to have stayed here and hope to return soon. It’s a great shame that it will close permanently in April 2026. Perhaps one might say, as goes Sundance, so goes the Sheraton. The service people are Utah nice, which fits the hotel’s rustic charm. Housekeeping is on demand only, and the water bottles are surprisingly small. The towels are rough enough to save me a dermabrasion routine, so at least they help exfoliate. It feels like stepping back to a time when brown was everything and double glazed windows hadn’t been invented to block street noise. The rooms are replicas of 1970’s hotel chic, though they do have flat panel TVs. The 2000 lumen lights may be harsh, but they leave no detail hidden. Cool in its own way.
