The rooms didn't look anything like the pictures. Our room was dirty, the beds were very uncomfortable, and the mattresses were extremely old and dirty. The sheets looked unwashed and were covered in stains. Even though we'd booked a non-smoking room, it smelled bad.

We stayed at this Motel 6 Plus Studio starting July 27th, and it was one of our worst hotel stays. Management said we had “too much stuff” in the room and threatened eviction unless we moved some of it into storage. We did, but housekeeping never cleaned once during the whole month. Twice a week we'd open the door for staff, and all they did was hand us paper trash bags. They never took the trash or provided service. The building was in terrible shape, with mold throughout the room. Unless we kept the AC blasting cold, the whole place smelled moldy. The door didn't close properly, and the plumbing was awful. When we filled the sink to wash dishes, the shower backed up immediately and filled the room with a horrible sewer smell. After 30 days, instead of receiving the Texas tax exemption, our weekly rate went up by \$20, from \$420 to \$450. Moving out was worse. After my child wet the bed in a small accident, we bagged the sheets for sanitary reasons, but staff accused us of stealing them. Management threatened to keep our deposit unless the room was “fully cleaned,” despite never cleaning it themselves. They even locked us out while we still had belongings inside. This place has a pattern of calling police on guests and threatening eviction over petty issues. We were treated rudely and with hostility. The building is poorly maintained, and the staff were unprofessional and management dishonest. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration. Don't stay at this Motel 6.

The rooms were okay, but I felt really uncomfortable with young guys hanging around outside their rooms, watching me pack and unpack my car. I've stayed here three times because of work and the location. On this last visit, one of the guys came over and tried to start a conversation. I'm sure the owners know what's going on, but it still didn't feel safe for me. Women, be careful. I've decided to stay elsewhere, even if it means driving farther. My safety matters more.

The front office staff were helpful, but the rooms didn't really match the pictures and we had no TV during my three-day stay. There's no pet walk either. If I'd been able to cancel without waiting for a refund, I would have. I don't recommend staying here.

My wife, who has stage four pancreatic cancer, was admitted to Methodist Hospital, and we live two hours away. I just needed a place to sleep, but the bed was in terrible shape: the old mattress had large burnt areas, the badly stained mattress cover had crumbs on it, and all the linens were stained too. One pillow had what looked like a quarter-size blood mark, and there was part of an eyelash on top of the bed cover. Room 150 also had a gap of at least 1/4 inch under the front door, a bathroom door that had been kicked in and not repaired, and two badly rusted clothes hangers. One of the three door locks was broken. I slept well? No, I did not. At least I didn't find any bugs, dead or alive. I'm going to try to add some photos.
