The beds were hard, the heat didn’t work, and the rooms could have been cleaner. Worse, the hotel’s affiliated food service provider recorded my credit card details for a purchase and then used them fraudulently. There were multiple charges before my credit card company stopped them. The hotel has done nothing to make sure that service is secure. Do not stay here!

The price was great for the location, and the service went beyond what I expected. They stored my luggage for free while I went to Lake Tahoe to ski, and the front counter accepted a package for me when I wasn’t around. Email support replied within a day, even on weekends. Two thumbs up!

We stayed in mid-August and got a queen room for under $100 a night. The room was clean, simply furnished, and had the basics. Front desk and concierge staff were friendly and helpful. The location and price really can’t be beat. It’s right in the middle of everything, just steps from the China Town gates and Union Square. Wi-Fi costs extra, and the paid access only worked on one computer at a time. You could always go to Starbucks, buy a drink, and use their Wi-Fi instead. I’d book here again.

They closed without giving us a reason, leaving us scrambling to find somewhere else to stay. With no explanation, we were left thinking something terrible must have happened for them to shut so suddenly. We wish them the best during a difficult time.
