Traveling with our adult sons, we wanted somewhere casual and clean, not upscale, and we were so glad we picked the Chelsea. The rooms were roomy and full of charm, everything was clean, and the location was great. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it.

The neighborhood was nice, but I left with a very bad impression. We had parked in the hotel garage, which was handy with a baby and lots to unload. The next morning the front desk asked us to move the car right away because a delivery was supposedly coming. Once I moved it, I found out they actually needed the spot for another guest. There were no signs saying it was restricted, and I had to circle the block several times to find somewhere else to park. There was no hot water in our room the following morning, either. Trying to get ready and check out with a baby without even being able to take a warm shower was incredibly frustrating and made the stay especially hard for our family. The rooms were clean, but dated, with flat pillows and no mini fridge. I won't stay at the Chelsea Inn again.

Parking was a problem, and there were no microwaves or fridges. Still, the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The location made it easy to get to restaurants, shops, Pier 39, and all around the Marina District.

Hours and hours of awful music from the bar across the street made it impossible to sleep, and even watching a movie was too loud. It completely ruined our weekend.

The room turned out better than I expected, and having free parking was really convenient. It was easy to get around from this great location, with lots of attractions nearby. A pleasant stay.
