The Grove Inn

We stayed at the Grove Inn for our wedding with friends and family, and had a lovely time. The neighborhood is beautiful and feels safe, and the clean rooms had everything we needed. Thanks to the staff for being so friendly and accommodating. We really appreciated it.

I spent a couple of hours each day in my room with my son, who lives nearby. We could sit by the bay windows in the swivel chairs and enjoy the neighborhood view. The inn is also close to lovely parks and cafés, if you don’t mind a bit of walking. The room was spotless and comfortable, the area felt secure and pleasant, and the staff were very helpful. I especially liked chatting with Aziza. My only small annoyance was that the windows were hard to open and close, and the shades were fiddly to roll up or down. I like fresh air and natural light, so I noticed that. I’d definitely stay again.

The fob-secured entrance and the key for my room made me feel safe, and check-in and checkout were easy. The staff were friendly and professional, and the service before and during my stay was great. I got a good deal for one night, and the room and comfortable bed were clean. I could sit in bed and use my phone without a problem. My room didn’t have a view, but that wasn’t why I was there. I’d stay again when I’m next going to the Fillmore. The Painted Ladies, the Full House TV show buildings, are a block away across from Alamo Park. I included a photo of the view anyway.

I felt safe here on my first solo trip and first visit to San Francisco. I even walked back after my concert late at night and had no issues. The room was clean, the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful, and I’ll probably stay here again next time I’m in San Francisco.
