W San Francisco

For a business trip, it was what I’d expect from a standard W hotel: high quality, great service, and an amazing bed. The bedroom was spacious, and so was the bathroom. I liked having coffee pods in the room. I would’ve appreciated a rain shower with stronger pressure and a larger gym. Neither is bad, but improvements there would make a difference.

Josh at the front desk of the W San Francisco was helpful for hours on end without missing a beat. He had great suggestions and stayed professional, friendly, and positive all day. His service was amazing from start to finish, and it’s rare to see someone so committed to making guests happy. He’s a real asset to the hotel and made our stay better. I hope he’s recognized for it.

I was ready to give five stars for the bellman station alone. I’ve got a carry-on suitcase and a smaller shoulder bag whose strap won’t fit over the suitcase handle, at least I’ve never managed it. People usually stash the two separately, but someone working the desk tonight figured out how to join them together. That made carrying them around much easier on my back. The hotel room was high quality and service was good. The lobby can get loud and rowdy with late-night parties, but the sound didn’t reach upstairs. Nice place, yada yada.

The gym is my favorite: great lighting and music, top-notch facilities, and a clean, stylish setup. Every workout leaves me energized. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is another highlight, with consistently excellent service tailored to my needs. Ms. Jane and Mr. Tong always bring thoughtful, skilled service that makes mornings a pleasure. I also love the modern style, especially the darker decor that gives the rooms a sense of privacy. The city views are stunning, and the downtown location is incredibly convenient. My 8-year-old son loves the free Mario and pac-man games in the lobby 😂. Every stay at W Hotel San Francisco feels like home, and it’s my go-to in the city.
