The pool is pretty small, and although we paid $10 for parking, the lot was full. Reception said it was okay to park next to the redline. We were there for a night on 11-01-25 and had a good experience otherwise. Room 521 was clean, with modern updated bathroom and furniture, and the sunrise view was kind of nice. We didn’t hear any planes or other noise. Check-in service was great, and breakfast was included and served in a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere. The location worked well for our night event at Art Performance Center, about a 10 minute drive away. Check the pictures.

The shower pressure was low, and the faucet placement at the sink corner made it barely usable. Aside from that, the room was large and clean, with high-tech decor, and the staff were helpful and nice. We stayed one night and used the decent laundry room. Breakfast had a good range of choices, including omelets, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, and good coffee.

My mobile key didn’t work, so I had to stop at the front desk after checking in through the app. Apparently another company handles the key system, so hotel staff can’t control it. The room itself was sparkling clean, with a welcome message on the TV. Staff greeted me, and as a Hilton Hhonors gold member I got a welcome gift of chips and water. The suite was large and nice, with a sitting area. There’s also a pool, laundry area, and exercise room. It’s convenient for the airport and a quick walk to local restaurants. Great stay, not sure why the bad reviews.

We actually walked from San Jose airport to the hotel, it’s that close. The front desk woman kindly let us check in early, which was a big help since we were in town for a sporting event that day. Our room was cozy and very quiet. Being near the train that runs through San Jose was a huge bonus too. I’d definitely stay again.

They charged $10 for parking, and there are plenty of better places to choose from. The so-called upgrade to a balcony room was a joke, putting us on the main road right over the train, with bells constantly ringing as it passed. This was the worst Hampton I’ve stayed at in a while.
