The rooms are consistently clean, updated, and comfortable, which matters a lot to me. The restaurant, bar, and lounge are cozy with pleasant lighting, and I enjoy the food. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance too. The nearby Theater and whatever’s going on around town are nice, though I still haven’t caught a show there. After long work and travel days, the staff make us feel welcome. I’ve seen most of them at work and they’re all great. At the desk I usually see Antonio and Paul, and we’ve built a rapport, joke around, and have a good laugh. Antonio remembers our earlier conversations and requests, and checks how the rest of my team is doing. Terry helped me when the zipper on my uniform dress got stuck over my undershirt. A guest I asked couldn’t get it unstuck, and Terry tried too. He gave me a tool, and I managed to zip it up myself in the restroom. I really appreciated him helping. Thanks for always making us feel welcome while we’re away from home.

Armando and Horacio helped make our visit lovely. Our waiter was kind, attentive, and quick, and the food came out promptly. The supervisor also stopped by with a warm hello and complimentary coffees, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everyone handled things with care. We’ll definitely come back.

Urvashi made the start of my stay especially easy. She was welcoming, professional, and attentive at reception, got me through check-in smoothly, and even upgraded me to a suite with a great view. The suite was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. Everyone I met on staff was courteous, friendly, and ready to help. This was one of my best Hilton stays by far. I’d recommend Hilton San Jose for the comfort and service, and I’ll be back.

I’ve only just checked in, so I can’t comment on the room or the rest of the hotel yet. My travel day was rough, though, and Marienelle made the check-in smooth despite mixups with my reservation. She stayed gracious and welcoming and went well beyond what I expected. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. Hilton, she’s a wonderful team member.

With such a big gathering, the staff stayed attentive and relaxed this year. They were helpful with questions and knew the area, while giving people room and simply getting on with their jobs. My room was quiet and well cared for, and the maids were really friendly in the mornings.
