Motel 6 San Marcos, TX

The rooms are disgusting for what they charge, and the housekeepers don't clean them properly. The supposed head housekeeper is meant to check the rooms after cleaning, but she's lazy and leaves early. Melissa, Mary, and the other housekeepers are unprofessional and have no customer service. They sit in the office, don't want to work, and talk about people instead. Management sucks, and they should look at themselves before judging others.

My last day here, the housekeeper tripped my two-year-old while he was busy arguing with people about towels. They also made me pay for a second room because they said four adults in a two-bed room were too many people. I watched them clean that second room, and they didn't change the bedding. The photos online don't look at all like the rooms. The staff were incredibly rude, and the floors were stained and dirty, with false lashes and hair in the tub and sink. My car was broken into overnight, but they said cameras weren't available where I parked. They also threw out a disabled kid with his service dog.

The mattress was really uncomfortable, the pillows flat, and the floors sticky and dirty. There was mold on the shower curtain and cobwebs along the AC unit. The door listed a price over $200, yet there was no coffeemaker, fridge, or microwave. People outside were making a racket until the wee hours, too. This was the worst room we've had in a long time, and it's my second bad experience at Motel 6. I won't stay there again.

They did a great job. Check-in was quick, and I was in my room in less than 15 minutes. The motel was clean, the AC worked so well I had to turn it off, and the two rooms were side by side. Getting to handicap parking was easy. 👍🤗🐱
