I called to confirm my Expedia reservation. Before I could finish explaining, the woman cut me off and said she'd put me on hold to help a guest. I waited over 6 minutes, then hung up and canceled the reservation. Based on the other reviews and that experience before even arriving, I'd avoid booking here.

I rarely leave reviews, but this stay was so disappointing and unprofessional that I feel it needs to be said. We were first put in a room with ants. After about an hour, staff told us to hurry up and eat our food and throw the trash away somewhere else, as if we'd caused it. They said the ants were "just nature" instead of properly addressing the problem. There was old debris and a stocking cap left on the floor from previous guests, so the room clearly hadn't been cleaned well. They moved us, but the next room wasn't much better: blood on the sheets, old Bobbi pins and more debris on the floor, and a toilet that didn't work properly. Cleanliness and inspection standards seemed severely lacking. Parking also wasn't handled as promised, and I'm still waiting to hear about my refund. I booked through Hotels.com, and they said they had to contact the hotel to process anything else. Hotels.com has called and emailed several times but got little or no response from the property, which made everything more frustrating. Mistakes happen, but clean rooms, working fixtures, and basic customer service are the bare minimum. This was unsanitary and completely inconvenient.

They never returned my $100.72 deposit for a reservation that cost $201.00. I reached out several times and was met with rudeness. Do not book here. "Thy shall not steal."

The area is nice, but inside this hotel doesn't match the neighborhood. We stayed 3 nights after booking ahead, and it felt more like a 2 star place. The guy at the front desk was pleasant, spoke to us, and brought extra blankets when we asked. The two women working there kept their heads down and acted like we weren't there whenever we went through the lobby. The room had old carpets with stains, dirty walls, and a tiny grimy balcony facing everyone else's. I felt like I was in the projects. I had to keep my flip flops on the whole time. The microwave wasn't properly clean and seemed very old, as did the TV, which wasn't smart. The remote was the oldest I've seen and had crumbs stuck in its dirty cracks.
