Comfort Inn

The large TV was more modern than most, and the room had a microwave and mini refrig. My shower wasn't working right, but they fixed it straight away. Breakfast was good and the hot jucuzzi was nice. Good value, and it'd be even better if I had a friend to split the cost with. Great spot for catching the ski bus up to Snowbird!

The location worked really well for snowboarding at Brighton or Park City, and for four nights we had a great stay. At first we were skeptical when we pulled up. The neighborhood didn't look like the best part of town, and the hotel didn't look updated, but we never felt unsafe or had any trouble with the area. Inside, things are somewhat dated, though you can see they're trying to update the place. For the money, it was excellent and we felt we got a good deal. The staff were very friendly in person and on the phone when we made arrangements. Our room was clean and quiet. The beds weren't Tempurpedic, but they were comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. There weren't many blankets, but the front staff were happy to bring more when we asked. Breakfast each morning was a nice bonus, decent food, though it could've had more variety and wasn't just cereal. We'd definitely stay again.

The room was clean, though the lampshades were broken. Some employees were nice, others weren't. I extended my stay twice. The first time they wouldn't extend my current reservation because it had a special promotion rate, so I had to pay another deposit. I understood, even though I wasn't asking for the same price, just one more night in the same room. The second time, they said my card had been declined, so I had to use another one and pay a deposit AGAIN. My bank said there were no blocks, I had enough funds, and they couldn't see any attempt to charge my card. By then I felt like I was being tricked into paying extra deposits. I'm still waiting for the refund from my stay on the 3rd!!

Our room was clean and had a minifridge, microwave, and desk. The employee was friendly and helpful, and they provided grab n go breakfast bags during limited hours. Getting there was a headache because of major construction on all the roads in and out of the hotel. Lots of roads were closed, and we had to get creative with Google maps. It's not the hotel's fault, but useful to know. The pool and hot tub had been drained for cleaning. The website hadn't mentioned it, and I'd read all the reviews to make sure the pool was open since that was why I booked. It was a huge letdown for the kids. The frontdesk did offer to 'let' me cancel before I finished check-in. They also didn't offer any late checkout.
