Extended Stay America Suites Chicago Schaumburg I90

The location worked well for us, with a roomy parking lot that was cleared quickly after snow. We stayed several times from September through December 2025 while working on a family member’s house. Each time, the room was clean when we arrived and comfortable to stay in, though it could use updating. Any problems were handled quickly, and the staff were helpful and professional. Aimee, Krunal, Pravi, Ely and Paresh got to know us and always gave us a warm welcome. There’s no security staff, so the front desk is sometimes unattended, but local police patrol regularly, which helped us feel safer. The city limits stays to 21 days at a time, so plan around that. We do recommend this location.

There was a strange smell in both rooms, and the floors felt sticky. In the bedroom, the door had what looked like stab wounds. The bathroom had mold in the shower, a bug in the sink, and a broken toilet seat. There was even a single piece of cheese on top of the dusty fridge that looked like it had been there a long time. At bedtime I spotted a bug on my bed but never found it. I woke up feeling really itchy, and when I checked the mirror I saw several bites on my back. I’m never staying here again.

The water smelled a little odd, but it was still decent. I didn’t see any bugs, roaches, or other living things besides us. The stay was pretty good overall. My only complaint was that the room TVs didn’t work, though the one in the living room did.

Ami, the manager, was extremely helpful and professional, and the maintenance man got my stove burner working quickly. I stayed in this apartment for several weeks and was completely satisfied with both the service and the location. It’s convenient for the major expressways and nearby shops. I’m looking forward to coming back!
