Seward Windsong Lodge

The restaurant food was fairly good, but the lodge is not within walking distance of anything. The room lights also kept turning off and on by themselves.

We loved the woods setting outside town. Everyone was super nice, and the service was outstanding. We had dinner in town, then drinks at the hotel bar. Sleeping with the sliding doors open and fresh air coming in was great.

The rooms were clean, the showers hot, and the place has an Alaska feel that fits Seward perfectly. We also enjoyed quality food in the attached restaurant. The shuttle transport was invaluable, and the drivers were amusing and knowledgeable. Super friendly staff, with great bellhops who helped with our luggage. We'd stay here again without question.

The location is beautiful, and the front desk staff were gracious and helpful. The shuttle to town was convenient, though I wish it ran more often than once every hour. For cruise transfers, they have a very organized system to get your luggage right to your state room, so you can enjoy Seward without worrying about your bags. Our clean, comfortable double queen had an odd layout, with the sink and counter right in the bedroom, which made it hard to get ready while the other person was still sleeping. We found the place lovely overall. We also had an outstanding meal at nearby Resurrection Roadhouse, highly recommend!
