Residence Inn Shreveport Airport

The desk staff were wonderful every time, and the location made it easy to get around. The hotel is a little older, but not too bad. Breakfast was nothing special, though we enjoyed having it.

My room smelled moldy and the shower floor was dirty. I got up early hoping to work out, but the gym was closed and nobody at the front desk could open it. It was a pretty bad stay.

My friend's room had a hornets' nest, and they didn't even call pest control. The pool was filthy too, and shouldn't be advertised. The management seems to lack any skills, though I don't know who is in charge. I'd like to speak to the owner about how this hotel is run. The lack of cleanliness was appalling. The rooms were stuffy and damp, with mold, filthy floors, and wet carpet. They said the carpet was wet because the AC units were broken. The bathrooms were beyond unsanitary. With that much filth, I'm not even sure they have housekeeping. Worst hotel I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing.

Inside the room we found dirty dishes in the dishwasher, crumbs on the floor, food left in the fridge, broken tile, ripped blinds, dirty cabinets, old adhesive on the shower wall, a microwave with no working light, dirty floors, and tissue stuffed into the box. The worst part was that my baby's knees turned black from crawling on the floor. The Marriott breakfast was missing some standard items, but by then we just wanted to get out as quickly as possible. We should have taken the boarded-up hotels nearby as a sign. The lobby was very warm because its AC didn't work, with broken tile and mismatched furniture, but somehow we looked past that and went to our room.
