Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Sioux Falls

Breakfast was my favorite part: waffles, eggs, sausage, and plenty of bread and dairy choices. Sharon was handling it on her own, yet the trays stayed full, the tables were clean, and she chatted with nearly everyone. The rest of the crew were kind and respectful too. We were here for the Tonic Sol-fa concert and arrived after driving through a rough storm. The room was warm, neat, and comfortable, and we slept well in the decent beds. Most sound stayed out, though the hallway door let quite a bit through. The lot looks small, but there’s parking in the next lot, and the front desk gave me a pass for the dash. An amazing stay.

Josh and the team make every stay feel special, from the welcome at check-in to the thoughtful little touches along the way. Their care is real, and the hospitality is hard to find. Every time I’m here, the experience is outstanding. I highly recommend it.

Breakfast was better than average, and they had trays you could take back to your room. There were also plenty of fresh cookies at the welcome desk. The property looks a little old, but it was clean, and the employees created a helpful, attentive atmosphere.

We stopped by before 3 to check on the room, and the friendly young woman offered three times it might be ready. We thanked her and said we’d come back. At 3, a friendly young man checked us in and suggested restaurants. The room was very clean and the stay was good overall. There were lots of kids running around, so next time I’ll ask for a top floor.
