The Center Inn

The Center Inn stay fell far short of the comfort and reliability its website promised, and what should’ve been one night became stressful and unsanitary. After a bug came up through the sink drain, I told the housekeeper on duty and the front desk, and they moved me to another room. I assumed management would make sure that room was pest-free, but the next morning I woke to a bed bug crawling beside my face on the pillow and had multiple bites. I documented what happened and provided clear photos. Management ultimately agreed to a full refund, and I appreciate that resolution. Still, guests shouldn’t have to deal with pests in multiple rooms or need a refund because of them. My fiancé was airlifted for emergency spinal surgery and is recovering from multiple fractures in both legs, so this was the last thing I needed to manage. The property needs to address these problems immediately. Travelers deserve a safe, clean, dependable place, especially when life outside the hotel is already stressful.

Breakfast was strange to me, with open jugs of juice for guests to serve themselves from in a fridge. I’d choose a cleaner, more updated hotel if I had the option next time. The front desk staff were both super friendly and accommodating, and my complaint isn’t about them. But the first room had blood stains on the sheets, mouse droppings under the mattress, and seeds from some animal. We switched rooms, and the second was much cleaner, though it smelled musty and smoky. One of the housekeepers really should be fired.

We came from Colorado to be with a loved one in her final days, and being right next to the hospital was so convenient. The front desk team were compassionate and welcoming to our family, always smiling. The rooms could use some updating, but I’d highly recommend this place to anyone staying near loved ones in the hospital. Thank you, Center Inn. We’ll come back if we ever need to.

We had surgery at Specialist Hospital, and the hotel was connected to it, which was outstanding given the weather. The low cost and convenience were great, and the front desk staff were five-star.
