La Quinta Inn Detroit/Southgate

We stayed for a week, and the staff made our family feel right at home. The rooms were really clean, and I especially want to praise the housekeepers. They do a great job, seem happy to be there, and outdid the cleanliness at many other hotels I’ve visited recently. Whenever we needed something or had questions, staff were helpful. They’re remodeling, and the construction workers were nice and doing an awesome job too. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making us feel at home.

A great affordable spot for a weekend visit. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. No problems at all.

The road noise here is substantial, and that’s the one thing keeping this from being my new favorite for the value. I travel full time for business, over 200 nights a year, and almost never leave reviews. Everything else was above and beyond what you’d get for twice the price.

Darien at Quality Inn made my stay feel personal and sincere. He treated me with respect and patience, made sure I was comfortable, and answered all my questions thoroughly. He handled everything with real care and professionalism, far beyond the basic check-in. You can tell he actually cares about his work. His attitude and willingness to go above and beyond made a real difference. Quality Inn is lucky to have him, and employees like Darien are why guests come back.
